The Everlasting Righteousness

Christian Life  by
Horatius Bonar

Horatius Bonar is one of the authors who writes with a pastor’s heart and is relatable in every area. This book is a masterpiece that addresses the greatest questions of man, giving an answer that cannot be found in a man himself but the provisions of God. Published in 1874, the author details the importance of a Christ in a clear and comprehensive tone, importance that extends beyond his words. Bonar highlights the idea of Cross-centered life with no comparisons as it is the only way to strengthen the foundations of faith and grow. This book is readable and practical; it magnifies the beauty of Christ and discusses the bitter reality of sin. It states the doctrines of justification in a concise manner and present value of the central doctrines of faith. It is a complete, refined and unfailing articulation of righteousness, continuity of faith and the glory of Christ.
