As Adam’s fallen descendants, we are unfit for Heaven and bound for Hell because of the bondage of sin. If that’s the case, who then can be saved? What can we do to attain salvation? Jesus answered that with men, it is impossible. But with God, all things are possible.
Though born to Christians parents, AW Pink embraced Theosophical society. Through his father’s patient rebuke from the Scriptures, he converted to Christianity. Proverbs 14:12 specifically struck his heart and compelled him to follow Jesus.
In this book, Pink emphasized the need for illumination and explained why men need to be born again. For an accurate Biblical perspective of God’s saving work, we need a proper understanding of the doctrine of regeneration. Pink’s work is undoubtedly one of the finest books available in this doctrine.
