Adoniram Judson and the Missionary call

Biography  by
Erroll Hulse

Adoniram Judson travelled far and wide, following the call to spread messages from the Gospel. He exemplified faith, perseverance, love and self-discipline. Doctrines of commitment to inspire missionaries and reaching the unreached people are ingrained in Judson’s life. He was a foreign missionary from the United States who became a pioneer in translating the Bible for Burmese people. Judson was an unsettled, young and brilliant mind who suffered a shattered struggle to control his thoughts, finding out that the Bible is true. He overcame anxiety and weakness by achieving personal salvation. The author puts forth an ambitious life full of turns that inspired Judson to become a missionary and carry the message through to those lost without, hoping that it will encourage Christians to trace their lives and asses themselves as Judson did after reading about Christian Schwartz. The author takes the legacy of Adoniram Judson and comes full circle.
