Lord, What Should I Do

Christian Living  by
Fred R. Coulter

What’s going on with mainstream Christianity? This is the question that the book, Lord, What Should I Do by Fred R. Coulter deals with, the correct and wrong doctrine in the Christian Church. It tackles the different issues involving the church and the declining number of churchgoers.
This book explains the pressing problems that the church faces. It covers corruption, complacency, negative impression of organized religion, feeling frustrated and neglected, and even problems with pastors and ministers.
Coulter was able to communicate to those who are trying to figure out how these present issues should be addressed. This is indeed for the real Christians who love God the Father and Jesus Christ with all of their heart, mind, soul, and strength; who seek righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and meekness; and who fight the good fight of faith to lay hold of the hope of eternal life.

You Can Understand Bible Prophecy

Prophecy  by
Anon

Prophecy helps us see the big picture of God’s program for the ages—His unfolding, eternal drama. Prophecy is important for many reasons, and without it, we might struggle to make sense of a lot of what goes on in our world today. For example, knowing that the world is headed toward a period called the Great Tribulation informs us as to why things appear to be getting worse instead of better. One major factor that distinguishes the Bible from other holy books is its prophetic accuracy. The Bible was written over a period of 1,600 years. It consists of 66 books composed by 40 different authors.

The Ten Commandments

David C.Pack

What is the real significance of God’s Commandments in our lives? The Ten Commandments by David C. Pack allows us to have a comprehensive understanding of God’s law and how it protects us from sin and its consequences. In this book, we can observe how God governs and guides us. It highlighted that the Ten Commandments are not regulations that limit our freedom, but rather commandments that protect us from sin and its chaos by alerting us about what we should and should not do. The Ten Commandments, like the natural rules that keep the universe running properly, are the law that provides order and harmony to the world. After reading this book, may we all strive to live a life pleasing to God.

New Covenant Does It Abolish Gods Law

Doctrine  by
Anon

This book showed that the Bible is structured around a series of divine covenants and their role in God’s overall plan for mankind. We can see that God wants to relate to us individually by seeking humans He could partner with to bring goodness to this world. These covenants came with a promise, but what does it take to receive the blessings of those promises?
Many distortions were made about what the Bible actually says about the New Covenant. In this book, Anon unravels them one by one to give us a clear lens on how to live. God desires us to have faith in Him to walk into the unknown and trust that He will reveal His plans along the way. God has promises, but the fulfillment of the promise is only for the brave.

Middle East in Bible Prophecy

Prophecy  by
Anon

The Middle East seems to bring the world a constant stream of bad news. Bible prophecy shows that this bad news will continue until Jesus Christ’s return. But once the world survives “Armageddon” in the Middle East, a time of good news will follow. Jerusalem will then live up to its name: “City of Peace.”

Gospel of the Kingdom

Doctrine  by
Unknown

Despite man’s effort to address different issues that threaten his existence, suffering is inevitable. But amidst the pain and suffering, where do you look? Do you look at the valley of shadow and wallow in sorrow or do you look up in heaven and search for silver linings? This booklet will remind us of the hope that Jesus brought 2,000 years ago. His message prophesized the wonderful future for humanity after a period of intense catastrophes. The author emphasized that the gospel should not be reduced to a story about one person because it is a message of salvation for the world. It is the message that Jesus announces to humanity and instructs us to believe. Despite the hardships in this world, He wants us to experience the Kingdom of God here on Earth.

Fleeing Out of Sodom

Christian Living  by
Jonathan Edwards

Choosing Jesus means no turning back. Fleeing Out of Sodom by Jonathan Edwards talks about the story of the destruction of Sodom, with all its circumstances, which appears to be incorporated in the Scriptures for our warning and is held forth as an example, a wake-up call that we all need to hear. Edwards asserts that fleeing from Sodom is a type of journey which all true believers make when turning from a sinful life. This explains the doctrine: we ought not to look back and the application of it. It gives several compelling reasons why one should be firm in deciding when fleeing from sin. There is nothing of value to look back on and be considered. Those joys are only ephemeral, and those who persist in them will be destroyed. It explains the importance of this story as a reminder to all believers.

Corrective Church Discipline

Doctrine  by
Albert N. Martin

If you know that a path leads to a deadly cliff, will you ignore or warn anyone from going there? If you are a shepherd and a sheep goes astray, will you let it be or correct its direction? A child disciplined is a child loved, but why did many leaders today shy away from correcting?
Discipline may not sound pleasing. It gained a negative connotation in church history because of inquisitions, imprisonment, burning at stake, and other vicious and dehumanizing activities. But if we bring what the New Testament had said about church living, we can see that corrective discipline is an underappreciated means of grace that is essential for the church’s edification. So let’s reflect on our own shortcomings and remember that discipline is not mean to punish us but to transforms us. May we examine our lives and church in the light of God’s Word.
