Biblical Meditation for Spiritual Breakthrough

12 types of Biblical Meditation  by
Elmer Towns

Dr. Elmer Towns is a college professor, popular seminar lecturer, dedicated Sunday school worker and an author of popular scholarly books that he started writing as a consequence of not being satisfied with the existing textbooks. Elmer draws inspiration from the historical records and context of great Christian leaders who have experienced God through meditation, in turn allowing God to transform their lives to His glory. He states that meditation is a dynamic process that is more than just mantras, methods, positions, formulas and ideologies associated with religions. This book is an outstanding and successful attempt at reviving the discipline of mediation and allowing people to reclaim it in its full potential with proper knowledge and understanding on how to access the power of the process. The book views meditation through the lens of biblical design, encouraging people to change for the better and for the growth of their character.
