The first edition of Babylonian Talmud appeared in 1896, after which it went through many revisions and major editing done by the Talmud Society. This monumental work is a primary source of knowledge on Jewish theology and laws. Agreeably as a centerpiece of Jewish culture, the book is a collection of writings venturing into a kaleidoscope of subjects and expounding the Jewish way of life. The author gives a generous introduction to the tractates, containing decades of teachings and opinions of many generations dating back to the fifth century. Babylonian Talmud covers various topics such as Jewish ethics, folklore, philosophy, history and customs. The documentation in Babylonian Talmud is a widely used reference as it is a culmination of three hundred years of research and analysis. The structure of this book is careful and precise owing to the sensitive subject, sometimes hard to read yet, we cannot deny its influence.

The author investigates over thirty thousand years of the Jewish nation’s existence, answering questions linked to tits peculiarity and uniqueness. The book is comprehensive and surprisingly entertaining for a history book. The author takes the reader on a journey of miracles like a fascinating time travel machine, unlocking information and absorbing key lessons. The author has a vivid imagination owning to his experience as a travel guide of the Israeli ministry. The book is profoundly written; it is a way to examine the past, finding a key to the future. The book is a source of enlightenment and, it is thought-provoking, providing invaluable insight into the challenges we face today.

Jesus said that he is the Alpha and the Omega (Beginning and End), but how could it be if we only saw His stories on the Gospel and His name was not even mentioned before that?
Jesus, in human form, may have existed in the New Testament, but it doesn’t mean he was absent in the Old Testament. In this book, Don Fortner listed all the books in the Bible as a chapter. He showed how Christ had been there from the start and will be there till the end of time. We can see how He can be found by type, symbol, and prophecies in each book of the Scriptures. He also presented how the Old Testament writings are connected to Christ and His coming.
Fortner also shows the gist of each book of the Bible and its relation to the whole Scriptures. He hoped to give us a zoom-lens view of those books so that we could grasp His Divine Revelation more fully. So let’s have a holistic look at the Word of God through this book.
This work by George Faull is like a literary analysis of the Bible. It talks about the interpretation of types and symbols seen in the Bible and their connection with each other. It shows the analogy of Christ to biblical characters like David, Jonathan, Nehemiah, Jonah, Joseph, Noah, Isaac, and others. It illustrates the contrast between Adam and Christ, the two kinds of trees mentioned in the New and Old Testament, Paradise and the New Jerusalem, etc. It describes how the Ark is a type of church, flood as a type of judgment, and Joseph’s brethren a type of Israel. It identifies the names used to describe Christ in each book of the Bible. It explains why Heaven is a great place. It also clarifies the meaning of words used to describe several concepts that were not easy to understand. In short, it provides in-depth learning for Bible students. So, if you are a serious student of the Scripture, this book should be part of your reference.
The Works of Henry Mahan Volume Two contains his Bible Class Commentaries on John, Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthians. The entire work, consisting of three volumes, is the result of Pastor Mahan’s devotion to providing his congregation with sound Christ centered materials for study in their Sunday Bible classes. By 1983 he had gone through most of the epistles of the New Testament verse by verse, and eventually included lessons from much of the Old Testament. Originally his ‘New Testament Bible Class Commentaries’ were published by Evangelical Press, in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian.
