Christ the Healer by FF Bosworth

God is gracious and compassionate. He wants to redeem us from our sins and bless us with healing, including our physical bodies. However, the topic of divine healing is controversial. That’s why it became a source of much confusion in the church. But what does the Bible say about healing? Bosworth emphasized that when Jesus atoned for our sins, he redeemed us from our diseases. The Pilgrim’s Progress is a 1678 Christian allegory written by John Bunyan. It is one of the most significant works of theological fiction in English.
The entire book is presented as a dream sequence narrated by a narrator of the story. Christian, is the main character and the plot centers on his journey from his hometown, the “City of Destruction” (“this world”), to the “Celestial City” (“that which is to come”: Heaven). Christian is weighed down by a burden—the knowledge of his sin—which he believed came from his reading “the book in his hand” (the Bible). This burden, which would cause him to sink into Hell, is so unbearable that Christians must seek deliverance.

C.S. Lewis most distinguished and popular accomplishments were Mere Christianity. In Mere Christianity, C. S. Lewis leads all the Christian religions to common ground. Clive Staples Lewis (1898-1963) was one of the intellectual giants of the twentieth century and arguably one of the most influential writers of his day. He was a Fellow and Tutor in English Literature at Oxford University until 1954, when he was unanimously elected to the Chair of Medieval and Renaissance Literature at Cambridge University, a position he held until his retirement. The Screwtape Letters is a Christian apologetic novel by C. S. Lewis.
