The attributes of God cannot be described by a few words, and Charnock is not a man of few words. It may be a lot of text at first glance, and one may complain how there can be too much written about God. But with all the books written about Him, we are yet to see what lies beneath the surface. The Scripture is the authoritative text inspired by God over everything, while this book is the authoritative text written by a person about the existence and attributes of God. This work may be extensive but is worth the read. Through this book, may we be able to see a glimpse of what we are about to experience in eternity.
