Indigenous Church Planting

Indigenous Planting by
Charles Brock

Regarded as one of the most constructive and prominent guides to house churches, Rev. Charles Brock provides the essentials of church planting in Indigenous Church Planting that most materials tend to overlook. It arose from the Brock’s personal discovery of a return to the pragmatic Biblical and theological models of the New Testament church. Brock draws the following church-planting principles on the Apostle Paul’s words in 1 Thessalonians 1:5, stating that the gospel came to Christians not only in word, as well as in strength, in the Holy Spirit, and with absolute confidence. The indwelling Holy Spirit is the source of power and enlightenment from beginning to conclusion. A church without the Holy Spirit is not a church, but a mere foundation for social gathering. Indigenous Church Planting elaborates on this principle and more, presented with reverence to Him and as a kind, helping hand to aspiring church leaders.
