Kingdom of the Cults

Cult Apologetics  by
Walter Martin

In the olden times, books are rare. Every town only has one copy of the Scriptures, and only a rabbi can read and interpret them to the people. However, not everyone can be a rabbi. You can only teach the Scriptures if you are the cream of the crop.
With the advent of technology, information is readily available. Everyone can have a copy of the Bible. Many people, even if they are not deep learners, were giving their interpretation of the Word. This freedom has its perks, but it also created many problems because some people misused the Word and carried the Bible with malice.
Martin Walter is an apologist who dived deep into the study of different religious sects. His book “Kingdom of the Cults” is considered the best classic that discussed cults in America. It reminds us that freedom should be balanced with responsibility so that we may not misread what the Bible had said.
