Radical Day in the U.N.

September 24, 2009 By Richard A. Volunteer

While the prophets of falsehood recognize the world is heading back to “monotheism” and accept their part in making that happen… Mr. Obama is selling out the people of God, and the property God calls “My land”

In his first address to the U.N. General Assembly, Obama sought to set a new tone in U.S. relations, moving away from the unilateralism of his predecessor. He coupled conciliatory words about a “new era of engagement” with a summons for other nations to shoulder more of the burden.

In declaring that it is time for Middle East peace “without preconditions,” President Obama used his speech to the U.N. General Assembly Wednesday to fire a warning at Israel that “America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements.”

Obama’s stark declaration, which drew applause, was coupled with a call for Palestinians to end their “incitement of Israel.”

But it was the use of the U.N. forum to carry the settlement message to Israel that drew the most enthusiastic response on the floor — and incredulous reaction outside its walls.

Obama just put Israel “on the chopping block,” said former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton.

Qaddafi attacks U.N. for 90 min.

Referencing Obama as “my son,” Qaddafi said: “We are happy that a young African Kenyan was voted for and made the president. Obama is a glimpse in the dark for the next four years, but I’m afraid we may go back to square one.

 Ahmadinejad

Ahmadinejad did not mention the uproar over Iran’s nuclear program, calling instead for global nuclear disarmament.

At the same time, the Iranian leader issued stinging attacks on the United States and its allies without calling them by name, prompting a walkout by the U.S. delegation.

Religious references. He called for a “return to monotheism and justice,” calling it “the greatest hope and opportunity in all ages and generations.” My bible agrees with him, except we serve a different monotheistic God.

And the media ignored Mr. Ahmadinejad’s lengthy references to the return of Imam Mehdi, the missing 12th imam of Shia Islam, in his UN speech. As a fundamentalist Shia, the Iranian leader wants to hasten Mehdi’s return and the Armageddon- like battle he believes will end the world and usher in eternal peace and justice.

Without such a belief, injustice and discrimination will not be corrected, he said.

The Iranian leader also peppered his speech with religious references, invoking the prophets of Judaism and Christianity, as well as Islam.

Ahmadinejad is absolutely right. The final showdown is not between Presidents and elected officials. It is between him who craves worship, and his prophet, and the prophets of the Holy one of Israel. That battle will come back to the beginning, long before democracy was a political system.
