The Jewish Talmud (book of tradition / Interpretation) says; “When the moon is in eclipse, it is a bad omen for Israel. If its face is as red as blood, (it is a sign that) the sword is coming to the world.” Therefore: Lunar Eclipse = bad omen for the Jewish people and Israel; Blood Moon = sword coming; Solar Eclipse = bad omen for the world.
One should make mention here that there are other “tetrads” occurring as well. One tetrad occurred in 2003 – 2004. The difference between these “tetrads” and the 2014 – 2015 “tetrad” is that this “tetrad” aligns with the Jewish holidays and the others do not. If they fall on Gods Appointments, the Feast Days He established we need to pay attention to those. In the 1500’s there were 6, but none fell on Passover and Sukkoth. For 1600, 1700 and 1800’s there were no tetrads at all. In 1901-2000 there were 5 tetrads. Only two occurred on the biblical holidays Passover and Tabernacles.
Let us examine these seven “Tetrads” and the coinciding events which impacted Jewish and Christian culture in the last 2000 years.
Four PARTIAL lunar eclipses occurred on the Jewish Passover in 32 AD – 33 AD and the “Feast of Tabernacles” in the years before and after the Crucifixion of Yeshua. Four lunar eclipses occurred on the Jewish Passover and Feast of Tabernacle holidays in 32 & 33 AD. The 33 AD partial lunar eclipses were NOT blood moons. The Jewish partial lunar eclipses did NOT comprise a NASA Tetrad. Jesus was most likely alive during the eclipses and preached on the Temple mount in Jerusalem for the first 3 Jewish festivals.
Four TOTAL lunar eclipses on the Jewish Passover and Feast of Tabernacles in 162 – 163 AD. Within 3 years the Antonine Plague killed eight million people, one third of the population. The Tiber River which flows through the city of Rome flooded it’s banks in the Spring of 162 AD, killing most animals in Rome and destroying much of the city. A severe Famine resulted. Foxe’s Book of Martyrs also states that the greatest time of persecution in the Roman Empire coincided with the reign of Emperor Marcus Aurelius starting in 161 AD.
Four TOTAL lunar eclipses on the Jewish Passover and Yom Kippur in 795 – 796 AD. Pope Leo III was crowned Pope on Christmas day, 795. He was attacked by his enemies in 799, then he fled to Charlemagne for protection. In 800 he and Charlemagne returned to Rome where the Pope was put on trial, but Charlemagne was able to get him acquitted of charges. The Pope then crowned Charlemagne the first Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, which lasted over 1,000 years. Thus, the Church gave the emperors authority to rule, and the emperors gave the Church protection.
By 795 AD, Charlemagne had created the Marca Hispanica, a buffer zone between modern day France and Spain to defend the Frankish Kingdom in Northern Europe from Islamic invasions of the Moors.
Jihad had destroyed a Christian Middle East and a Christian North Africa. Half of Christianity was lost. Before Islam, North Africa was the southern part of Europe (part of the Roman Empire). Around 60 million Christians were slaughtered during the jihadic conquest. The Jews became permanent dhimmis throughout Islam. The dhimmi is a distinctly subjugated second class non-citizen almost slave who is subjected to dictatorial deprivation of any legal and human rights since he is a non-Muslim permanent resident in a Muslim state.
