As we look to understand heavenly signs as well as watching End Times, it is critical to keep the importance of supporting Israel in mind. Following are five Biblical reasons why we as believers today should support the nation of Israel and the Jewish people:
1. God promises to bless those who bless Israel—Genesis 12:3
2. We are commanded to pray for the peace of Israel—Psalm 122:6
3. We are commanded to be watchmen on the walls of Israel—Isaiah 62:6
4. We are commanded to minister to Israel in the material blessings—Romans 15:27
5. Jesus entreated the church to support Israel—Matthew 25:40
I do not know which events follow these Blood Moons.
There are many prophecies still to be fulfilled before Yeshua returns.
History suggests great peril to Israel and great Geopolitical change. ISIS, Iran re-arming, Russian troops in Syria, Palestinian Statehood, Japan and Germany re-arming, American political weakness, Arab Spring are all variables making up an unpredictable future. We are seeing the world putting pressure to divide Israel as they try to create a Palestinian State. The same Babylon that created Israel in 1947 with a U.N. resolution can divide the land back to the 1967 indefensible borders.
Jesus also specifically told us to be ready and watch for His return:
• “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” (Matthew 24:42)
• “So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” (Matthew 24:44)
• “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.” (Matthew 25:13)
• “Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36)
• “Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.” (Revelation 3:3).
Do not let your faith give way to fear. Yeshua has assured us He is Sovereign over all. He paid the price in His own blood for each one of us. Our lives belong to Him and He decides our future and our fate.
