Works of Jonathan Edwards Vol 2
Complete Theology by
Jonathon Edwards
Are religiosity and spirituality the same thing? Should we love the Lord with all our hearts or with all our minds? When it comes to faith, is it better to be emotional or rational? Jonathan Edward’s works were written during the 18th-century Great Awakening, where revival swept across America. However, this zeal towards spirituality came with a problem in counterfeit faith. For others were only persuade with the heat of the moment but lack sincerity in their religion.
This 2nd volume is an extensive collection of works that includes a biography Edward had written about his colleague in the mission field, theological discourses, spiritual treatise, and biblical exegesis. It also contains sermons that tackle how God is glorified through our dependence on Him, the fate of sinners in the hands of an angry God, divine decrees and light, many of his “Miscellanies,” and many more. Edwards also presented twelve signs of a truly converted life by differentiating genuine from false piety. It reminds us that the false cannot be true, but the true can become false. May we find the true way towards faith and never depart from it.
